Painting courses
In this corner of the world, nature is still
the home of the soul. Our painting courses Santa
Luce give you the chance to learn new ways to
express or to perfect your technique, followed
at all times by the discrete eye of a professional
teacher.
The school offers two courses: open air painting
and medative painting.
Open air painting
Our open air painting courses are designed to
give you the opportunity to capture on canvas
the enchanting hilly countryside of Santa Luce
with the sea view on the horizon. Participants
can feel the emotions when confronted with a
landscape already dear to Macchiaoli, the most
famous current Italian painter of the XIX century.
The teacher will decide from one time to the
next the site of the lesson and will follow
the students, giving suggestions on technique
to improve their piece, always taking into account
their level. Courses are open to all; from absolute
beginners to professionals.

Medaditive painting course
Il corso di pittura meditativa intende coniugare
l’esperienza gestuale della pittura con le pratiche
meditative della cultura buddista. L’insegnante,
una monaca tibetana dell’Istituto Lama Tzong
Khapa di Pomaia, guiderà gli allievi in un percorso
di consapevolezza che partirà dall’espressione
pittorica. Questa attività è particolarmente
indicata per coloro che hanno la necessità di
liberarsi da stress e tensioni accumulate nel
corso dell’anno. Non è richiesta una specifica
conoscenza di base.
